Has anyone else caught the soft plastics bug ?
Up till April this year there was noway I could be convinced that Sp,s were the bestest new thing in fishing ,but when we went on the Fangvic trip to Mallacoota I became a convert, when I saw the size of those huge Mallacoota flatties being caught on Sp,s I had no choice but to give them a go myself, it was amazing, I didnt use bait in the 4 days I fished there and caught some very nice fish.
Once back from the trip I started stocking up the ********* with plastics of all shapes, sizes and colors and now Im totally addicted to them.
Its a bit like back at primary school when we swapped cards, we are now swapping Sp,s and trying to out do each other { all in fun }.
Anyone else in here a convert ?
cheers
Karren

has anyone caught anything on SP's in PPB?
I hear that its the next best way to catch a fish, i have never seen fish caught on a hard bodied lure let alone a SP , i hope to see it soon frozen bait is a joke these days

Ive caught KGs and Aussie salmon on the skirted plastics by trolling and Flatties on Gulp, plastic blood worms, but boy they stink, I havent as yet tried plastics in WPB but Im hoping they do well out there as WPB is my favorite waters and I will be spending most of the summer fishing it ,I HOPE !!!!.
If I spend another cent on fishing gear it will hit the fan in a big way so Kmart is out for me till im in the good books again.

Howdy all,
My first post and would you believe it it's not about what i have caught but what i have been buying. K-Mart has 25% off fishing gear down in Frankston. Drop in and pick up a bargain, me i picked up a new Jarvis Walker reel for my F/W trip to Purrumbette on the 4th, Nov, and i will be using SP's for the first time. So maybe my post is relevant to the forum post after all. hehe!
Regards, PKG ( aka: PeterGEE ). :)

Hi Peter,
after spending my pocket money at the fishing show the boss wont give me anymore money till we get to Bemm river which is now 12 sleeps away WOOO HOOOOO, so Kmart will have to get by without my contribution this sale. :(
And welcome to worshipers Peter, I know you will enjoy it as much as we all do.
Good luck with the plastics up at Purrrumbette, let us know how you go,

Karren
