I was wondering that when the weather has decided to get it together if there would be any interest in us getting together for either a BBQ at our house or even a days fishing down this way and a BBQ afterwards, or even surf fishing at one of the surf beaches finishing the day off back at our house in Rosebud for a BBQ ? :?:
Let me know what you think and if it were to take place give an indication of what date would suit you best.
Thanks all

Karren I cant see the house being put on the Market until early Janruary at this stage.. Still a few things around the house to be done Plus planning a trip back to my homeland "Van Diemans Land" At christmas to catch up with folks.. but we are getting an agent in in a wek or 2 times for a valuation and to see what else needs doing with little money being spent...

your Karren there will be other get togethers in which we would like to be participating in when we become melbourners

cheers

Grant, the chronics are an msn group started by Heath Hickford after the problems on another site, from what I know its a place where fisho,s get together and arrange to meet up for fishing trips ect, and is made up of members and ex members of that other group as well as others, its pretty much a social group for chronic fisho,s.

Tassie is a great place absolutley fond of Tassie....I have spent many of years fishing that island and still i have places to explore there....

I still love tasmania and i misss Tassie alot i would be back there tommorow if there was work availble for me there...

It is enriched with so muchg bueaty and the fishing is just spectacular wether chasing a trout in the highlands or chasing a marlin of st helens theres always a place to fish.

the climate of Tassie is just great Summer is not to hot just Nice the air is clean the water is pristine

i am just homesick thinking of the place

Hi Oz, my dear old and now departed pop was from Tassie and he was a great fisherman who is responsable for my fishing addiction, he told us a lot about growng up in Tassie.
We didnt get to St Helens on our trip but we will be going back asap to fish there, we have even been toying with the idea of retiring in Tassie on a house boat or something related to the water and fishing but gotta wait a few years yet, Im turning 50 in Feb but Joys 12 years younger and has a few years to work yet, but we can dream aye.
Cheers Mick, say Hi to Chezz for us.
