G'Day all,
With our forced relocation to Brisbane we now have to sell our on-site van at Phillip Island.
It is a 22ft deluxe fully insulated van with annexe under a full flyover.
The park is a quiet family oriented park that won't suit those looking for loud parties and yahoo-ing, but does suit those that for a quite and safe park.
It has boat parking and does allow annual site holders to bring their dog as long as it is kept on lead and under control. Large site with side parking.
Fees are about $1500 per year (from memory).
Van piccies below or email for more if interested, looking for around $14,000 as it is a very good van.

That looks like a very reaso***le deal. I am unfortunetly broke from house purchase otherwise I might have been quite keen.
A map of its location would be good.

For interest,
Got a phone call from a guy that saw the van at the park and he offered me $12500, so we took it.
He was to start a 2 week surfing holiday over Adelaide way this from this weekend, now he will have the holiday at Phillip Island.
Hope there will be someone else over Adelaide for the sharks to eat now that he isn't going

Thanks Karren,
Well, we have actually gone.
After much last minute rushing and numerous dilema's, we arrived safe and well in Brisbane on Friday Dec 30th, but boy what a trip.
First problem, they couldn't get all our stuff on the furniture van, so we had to leave about 20% of it behind in the house we sold for another week until they could get in on their next truck north. Sharon had a belly bug on last day so our packing and final cleaning was an interesting time as she kept running to the loo with "that look" on her face.
Finally we left Romsey at 5.40pm for a 5 hour drive to our motel we had booked at Narranderra NSW, but just as we were leaving my oldest son Alan started chucking up after being off color for a couple of hours, another vitim of the belly bug.
Arrived at Narranderra a little ahead of time at 10.30pm, and I was now also starting to sweat and glad to be near a loo. After spending the night throwing up and emptying out with dihorea (spelling?) I ended up getting about 1 1/2 hours sleep for the night. Got up and walked out front to check on the boat (which I had to park on the street) as our furniture guys were driving past, turns out one of them got crook too, poor bugger looked worse than I did.
Anyway after a slow start to the morning I finally worked up the courage to drive away from a perfectly good loo.
Drove for another hour or soo to West Wyalong where it was time to fill up with fuel again, turned sharply into the station and pulled up at the bowser to hear Sharon shouting at me because the back of the boat had just side swiped the back of a new falcon parked at the servo. Asked her to fill her car and stop stressing, and explained that this is why I pay insurance, so I don't have to stress. Passed details with the servo consloe operator and off we wen't again.
Travelled well most of the rest of the day until we got just passed Coo***arabran when I did a wheel bearing on the trailer, couldn't believe it as I checked and greased them before leaving. So here I am 10 km's out of town in about 40 degree heat. Off cam the wheel, jacked up the axle and then strapped it up out of the way so I could limp back into town at about 50-60km's hour. Shaz was stressing again so I sent her back to book a motel for the night whilst I looked for a local bearing place, fat chance at 6pm on a holiday weekend Sunday.
Found the right guy and he fixed the damage to the hub and put in new bearings for us that night, I fit them in the morning and we were off again by 10am.
Got about an 1 1/2 hours over the border into QLD before I noticed Shaz wasn't behind me, looked down at the car phone and wouldn't you know it, no coverage. THe only place along the whole drive where there was no coverage. Anyway after waiting on the side of the road for about 10 minutes we decided to go back and find what has happened. Ended up going back 40.2 km's to find her on the side of the road with bonnet up and a failed fan belt. So limp her Commodore back about 1km to a Cafe where we arranged to leave it overnight and all into the Landcruiser for the last 270km's.
Just when we thought we had been through it all I notice the Landcruiser is loosing oil pressure, you have got to be kidding right?????? No, oil pressure is hovering down around 30% of its normal position on the guage. Checked qty etc all good so it was a slow trip into Brisbane with 2 1/2 ton of boat on the back, four of us, a dog and a cat plus overnight gear.
TALK ABOUT THE BLOODY GRISWALDS ON THEIR LAMPOONS VACATION.
Next day we drove back 270km's and fit a new belt to the commodore and brought it intpo Brisbane mid morning.
So, "hope all goes well for the move" hey!!!!!!
Anyway, as said earlier, we are all here safe and well and yes, we are still talking to each other.

G'Day Grant,
We stayed at the Gateway Motor Inn on the night of the 28th December.
Didn't see much of the place though, I was either in bed trying to sleep or in the loo!!!

Nice looking outfit Darren.
Well, I hope the new location was worth it. Sounds like you could have made a comedy/documentry on the way.
Pet's and all in the car? 40 degree heat? Car problems? Stomach flu?
Did you have the dead granny tied to the roof rack?
Glad your now home and safe.
Get into the fishing up there and keep the reports coming in.
