Grant if you go for options 2 or 3 better run them through spellcheck first.

opition 1 is the best one. Cheaper to print mabye try a snapper instead of a flathead :)

A Flatty is not that bad, at least I can be guaranteed to catch 1 of those.
Then again a SNAPPER would be better

Grant, I'll vote for seaeagles Snapper, It's a much better Ideal to strive for.

That bloody giraffe... Make me laugh every time I see it.

now the logo. I was thinking flathead its always the first fish we catch, but we all aspire to a snapper.

Strange when there are so many bigger better things out there. I guess Snapper is the local giant of fish.

So I will make it snapper logo unless we have another suggestion, I will make the chnage this week some time.

Here are my thoughts,
Ive noticed there are a few groups who use the snapper for their logo, but after all it is a much sought out fish for almost all fisho,s,

The Flathead is the bread and butter fish and is a good catch when nothing else is around, at least we take home a feed of fish.

The Gummy is in my books the more elusive fish and is a great catch and well sought out and Im yet to see it being used as a logo.

But these are just my thoughts they are all good looking fish and would all look good used as a logo.

Nice idea....Seaeagle? do we have a gummy option?

A Gummy is more a Victorian thing. If you want this site to be more geographical correct(is there such a thing???) then a fish that is caught in most Australian waters would be more significant.

Dam it I agree with marauding as well now!

I think snapper or flathead. Snapper is an aspirational fish and flatheads are a common fish.

we have images for bream and a load of others.....

oh no...

At the end of the day Grant you won't be able to please everyone but I am sure you will try. Try looking for a fish that distinguishes your website from all others.

I think I will leave it up to seaeagle.

Not really, we catch them here and they're caught in WA, just not FNQ or NT.
This is the logo we done for Fangq, maybe something similiar could be done with a map of Australia and a gummy :?:

Picture of the Orca I found browsing the net a while back, cant remember the site, just liked the pic & stole it.

The Gummy logo looks good. It would be good to have a species that everyone around the country can identify with though. :?
