I went to school with people who lived in Munyang St but can't remember who they were. Went to high school from 1971-1975

Just had a look at the webcam from Pt Lonsdale and Geelong. Weather doesn't look the best. The wharf at Geelong(Cunningham) are u allowed to fish on it and if so what could u expect to catch.

No expert on geelong, I know MR_Bean (Darren) comes from down that way.

Apparently its a bit of a snapper heaven when its not on in the rest of the bay.

Where do you get to fish up there.

Used to fish Jervis Bay a fair bit a few years ago now. Port Hacking around Lilli Pilli and the south side at Warumbul. Hawkesbury River now that I live near it. Just getting out is a bit of a problem at the moment due to renovations and haven't got a licence yet(doing another lesson on saturday morning).

Don't really know anyone up Thornleigh way so more of a loner angler at the moment. Looking at a few angler clubs but they get a bit "clicky" for my liking.

We will clearly have to make you the NSW representative of worshippers.

I reckon we have hotspots by state. What do you think?

Not worthy of NSW rep especially as I havent frequented the fishing world often enough at the moment. As for hotspots they are held very close to one's chest as you can imagine. I don't really know of any(yet!) but don't mind passing them on to those I know can keep it quiet and respect the area.

Small world though Grant both of us coming from the same area and of all places to find out on a fishing website.

There is a theory that the internet creates a flat earth. An earth where everybody can seee everybody else as there are no horizons.

Look at the small group of poeple on this site. Mostly members of other sites as well, but we all get along no issues and no politics and most of us haev never met.

So yes it is a very small world and getting smaller everyday!

I have to admit I do like the intimacy of a smaller website. The great thing as you said there is NO politics, NO serious hassling of other users and it's a good site so I am happy as a pig in......mud!!!

Bit off target here Grant, I actually live out near Mt Macedon.

I enjoy fishing down that way and often tow the boat to Queenscliff to fish out in Bass Strait, but I live in a little town called Romsey.

I have only fished out from Geelong once, got bugger all and swore I wouldn't go back. Others that know the area seem to do OK though.
