As this is virtually a brand new fishing site, it is a real pleasure to welcome another non victorian.
Being a site especially designed for new fisherpeople, we would welcome any input from you along the way especially as you come from an area that most of us havent fished.
Congrats on your barra, you lucky bugger--I have never caught one!
Cheers Ted

Hi Phil, welcome aboard, I have a wish to fish in Broome soon.
HEY GUYS
THANX FOR THAT WELCOME :P
GRANT, I HEARD ABOUT THIS SITE FROM ANOTHER VICTORIAN WEB SITE.I HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN HOPING TO FIND A SITE THAT IS SITUATED IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA,BUT OH WELL...IM SO GLAD THAT THERE ARE A FEW OF YOU THAT WOULD LIKE TO FISH BROOME (THATS WHERE I LIVE ) THERE IS NO OTHER PLACE QUITE LIKE IT HERE.WE HAVE SOME MASSIVE TIDES. THAT IS ABOUT THE ONLY DRAMA .MY FATHER STILL LIVES IN VICTORIA .HE HAS A PLACE IN PORT WELSHPOOL. HE KEEPS TELLING ME THAT ITS GETTING REALLY HARD TO CATCH FISH AROUND THERE ANYMORE. AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT ,ITS THE SAME RIGHT UP HERE .THE REASON BEING IS THE PROFFESIONAL FISHING IS WIPING OUT THE FISH STOCKS. AND WE ACTUALLY GET PEOPLE COMMING FROM DOWN SOUTH (PERTH ETC ETC),THAT SAY, GET ABOUT 10 COUPLES WITH THEIR CARAVANS, AND ALL ARMED WITH FISHING RODS AND BOATS .THEY STAY DURING THE TOURIST SEASON. CATCH FISH EVERY DAY, AND SEND EVERYTHING DOWN SOUTH, AND MOST OF THE FISH THEY TAKE ARE UNDERSIZE.SO MUCH FOR FISHING FOR THE FUTURE HEY.?ITS THE SAME EVERYWHERE I BELIEVE.HOPEFULLY WE CAN EDUCATE THESE MORONS TO DO THE RIGHT THING ,AND FISH FOR THE FUTURE.AND JUST TAKE WHAT THEY NEED FOR A FEED, AND NO MORE THAN THAT
ANY WAY GUYS AND GALS TAKE CARE AND I
WILL CATCH YOU SOON
PHIL
