Happy new year all 8)

Spent my week off down at Coronet Bay, only got out to fish twice and had a boat load of kids each time. Bag for 2 days was.

7 x gummy sharks.
4 x banjo sharks.
1 x elephant shark, caught on n/y eve,????
1 x large leatherjacket.
30 x keeper flatties + 150 throwbacks
2 x rockcod
1 x pinky snapper 28cm, released to live on, promptly turned into breakfast for a pelican with good eyesight.

All in all a good way to end 2005. can't wait to open my account this year. 8) Back at work already

Well Steve you certainly done heaps and heaps better than I did over fishmas, :D :D
I went up to my parents onsite van at Port Albert for two days and being boatless I had to fish off the overly crowded jetty with my dad, my dad is very set in his way so trying to convert him to S,Ps was murder till he watched me drag in some nice big flatties whilst he was bouncing baits and getting no bites, the smallest flattie I caught was 45 cm and the biggest 56 cm, I reckon the local tackle shop did well selling soft plastics that day,.

Hi Guys-- and happy new year.

Just back from three weeks at Mallacoota. Arrived to a buggered computer at home, and internet down at work. Bugger!

Fished every day in the inlet, for fairly regular bag limits of Dusky Flathead, subsequently, a full freezer to bring home.

No trophy fish, with the largest being 6lb.

Cheers Ted

Happy New Year to all you lucky people that got to go fishing. I ended up at Port Stephens for a day and a half and didn't throw a hook in anger.

Welcome back from fishing heaven Ted,
Mallacoota is my favorite fishing destination by far, we went there last year on a Fangvic trip and had a ball so Joy and myself are planning another trip there asap.
I was at Port Albert for a couple of days over chrissy flicking plastics off the jetty but bagged some good sized flatties, cant wait to get into some good fishing.

Karren

Of all the things Ive ever lost, Its my mind I miss the most.

Managed a couple of trips over the chrissy period.

9 pinkies to 3kg
5 gummies(all under 1m so went back)
11 decent flatties kept and 150 thrown back (probably yours Sreve)

Time to target the gummies in WP me think.
