Well xmas is over and I hope you all had a good one, I hope santa bought ya,s heaps of fishy things, I must have been a very good not so little hillbilly cause I got a huge Plano tackle box that I will have much pleasure in filling { just gotta find a paying job to do it } and I also got a new beaut lap top and a verbal gift from my daughter saying we are gonna be grandparents in August so all in all I did pretty well. :)
I hope you also had a great new year and can strive to honor the new years resolutions we have all made, mine is pretty simple, its to do way more fishing, to up my catch rate and to never hook anything under the size limit YEAH RIGHT, I document all of my fishing trips in a fishing diary and for 2005 I have done 247 hours fishing, so this year I plan to at least double that.
HAVE A GREAT AND SAFE NEW YEAR ALL. :D :D :D
Karren

Happy NY Karren, and to all.
I'll have to pull out me log book tonight and count up the hours I put in over 2005. I shun to think.
NY resolutions? Mulloway on lure. Fished on the 1st of Jan and dropped one on lure (my first), so that's set my new target.
Hope we catch up one day for a fish Karren. I need help with the whiting.

if you take the 14kg sinkers off your line it might be a start! and not use crane wire for line....

Happy NY all.--- I forgot to make any NY resolutions, and I was asleep when NY came in (result of 5.30am fishing and too many evening ales)

Hi Ted,
Unfortunately my health problems pretty much dictate what and when I can and cant physically do, so Ive had to give up heaps of things I enjoyed doing but fishing has always been my number one love { apart from family and friends } so Ive been able to concerntrate fully on my fishing, 8) when they measured me up for my wheelchair I had a huge case of the s#*s about not getting around to easy with my fishing gear ,ect, that they also threw in a scooter rigged with rod holders a trailer hitch and off road wheels, so theres not to many places I cant get around fishing wise. 8)
The only real problems Ive encounted is with the boats ive owned {all very cheap and very basic run arounds } so now I have to set my sights on a boat with electric start and tilt and trim ect, and with some luck should have one pretty soon. :D
Ive also made some pretty fantastic friends through fishing who incude me in their fishing trips, so all in all Im a very happy fishing hillbilly with heaps of time to dedicate to fishing. :D
Karren
