Our little community has grown and I am starting to wonder what all the fellow fishos actually look like. The internet gives us som much annonimity. NO MORE! We may even see each other at ramps and on the bays and not knwo who we are talking to!

On my recent trip back to Tassie on the day we arrived there at the airport it was raining and blowing a gail as it does in hobart... did you know it rains 6 months of the year there and the other 6 months it drips of the trees....all jokes a side
After getting of the plane in those conditions we greated my mum and dad and my sister and my little nephew who happens to look as good looking as i do...
Mum said we are going to my sisters for a bbq... i siad ya gotta be kidding me in this weather ya no hope in hell in getting the bbq lit... anyway i had no choice but to attend the bbq as they were putting it on for me and chez....
After the bbq mum calls dessert... guess what my mum made 2 big bowls of wine triffle from my grandmothers recipe...
guess what Karren i ate 2 big bowls of wine triffle oh i did let every one have 1 bowl each before i scoffed the rest down

Well, I am back - been away for a long time, and I figure that most of won't remember me , so here is a recent pic.
Looking like crap and recovering from a hernia op - but still alive and still causing trouble.
Can't work out how do do a pic as an attachment - so have changed the avatar.

Ted , thanks - yeah it is about time that the "aka" got back into action - on the boards - because I can't do much else at the moment - even fishing is out - bloody boat is rotting in the garage and has been since well before Xmas - but I am on the mend (I think) so time is the only thing I have to endure.
I am lookin at gettin to some bank fishin on Thursday and back at work on Friday. Been a week of ****e awful pain but seems to be better each day - the worstest bit was that first ****tee - geez it hurt.
