anyone know where theres a cheap swag? looked at rays tents on the weekend $185 for a new one, but coz ive never been in one it seems like a lot of money to spend, for the same amount could get a hiking tent with heaps of room

make sure you get a good swag with Aussie made canvas and also get one with hoops at booth ends...

a mate of mine has a shiralee swag made by jolly swags and it cost him 420 new but he has said to me it is the best money he has spent....with also a lifetime warrentee

dont buy cheap when it comes to swags as you may well regret it if you do

this is what my mates got

also apperently some of the swags in the shop are made in India with indian canvas the stitching is of very poor quality

cheers

a mate bought one from rays tents, yet to ask him how is went.
for the mount of time im going to sleep in one, i cant justify spending so much of a swag, if its just me going i can sleep in the back of my crusier, which i just got and got over excited about the long weekend when i put up this post, so its going to be a tent that i get so if the kids come we can all sleep in it.

where do you camp? I am dead keen to get my wife into some lite-camping, however she wants the old 5 star jobbies and room service.
So I thought if I take her somewhere where its pretty special first trip, we can work from there.

pitch tent in back yard over summer, under the full moon, clear night, and you never never know,

stayed at gembrook over the long weekend , rough it out with the boys, cut wood and cooked on an oped fire...fantastic.
the missus said shed only go on two conditions:
1. no kids
2. 5 star resort and a spa...

looks like its going to be cold nites in the bush....

Maybe we should send our wives one place and will head to the other!
