Boat and trailer reg

going through the process of getting the boat and trailer registerd, is it true that i dont have to take the boat to vic roads?
i should just ring them........Doh :roll:

didnt have my boat on trailer when I went.

was fine.

Make sure they measur eit and dont go (sheel be within) as i was actuallty 1 cm under and the original person just guessed I was over size.
