The cold has set in....

so now that its here, where and what, if any do you guys fish and for what sort of fish, does the habit change when it gets colder?

There has been a good run of squid in PPB recently and Ive seen some monsters caught, then theres the Aussie salmon, Im told they are plentifull from both the beach and trolled from a boat, skirted plastic lures Im told are the go for trolling, there are also some shark around , Im going out with Lynda over the weekend to chase a gummy or 2 on WPB, :D :D :D
Ive also heard that theres the odd ellie still being hooked. :shock:
This time of the year I go pot luck fishing, I figure any fish I catch is a bonus.
Oh Yeah, thermal long johns are a must :idea:

havnt fished since easter, starting to get withdrawels and the shakes evry time i walk past me 38 rods, and thats evry time i walk the hallway, might give the jewies in the yarra a go this long weekend,

Taken the family out (bro-inlaw and Nephew) to go gummy hunting this weekend.

I have txted Salmon king and her eckons trevally and salmon are the way to go as baits. I want a photo worthy fish.

I reckon the spoil grounds are the go, what do you guys / gal think?

Lynda and I have revised our plans and are heading to Mordialloc on Saturday to flick the cob webs outta our S,Ps,
anyone else going our way ? will make sure we check the radio now and then so if ya,s are out there give us a hoy. 8)

Grant, the only thing that beats trevally for bait is the Aussie salmon, I usually do well with the salmon by trolling a pink skirted plastic lure from the boat, but Ive lost some nice sized salmon by being to eager to bring em in and forgetting they have soft lips. :oops:
