hey grant, thats your excuse for a gym and i like it, but maybe i think the real reason you want a gym is to be prepared for all the big reds you are going to get this season, hheheehee, oh and i forgot, i will need some one who has worked out to help me lift my big toothies onto the piers this comming season,

lol, - last season Kaz (another member here) said she was going out to catch her self her first snapper, we have had 48cm PB on my boat, so this season (after I catch a decent gummy) is snapper and I will have to start working out soon!
I have to catch up to Kaz.

Haven't been for ages due to one thing or another. Have a weekend hairtail fishing on a houseboat in 2 weeks up the Hawkesbury :D
Hows life down your way???? Don't see Steve G much on the boards lately

Steve is flat out. His company is going through the roof. Wont be long before he buys greg normans boat off him!
He visits on occasion, I did a website for him. (Poor bastard should have been informed how friggin slack I am!)
I dont think he is fishin much over the winter.
I am planning a day out on friday, but just heard its going to be raining. Bugger.
I have fond memoried of the hawkesbury, its where I learnt to fish, with an uncle.
Whats the house boat thing like? sounds interesting.

There is 10 of us. Roughly $160 each for the weekend. We get a 45ft boat. Food, gas, petrol etc is covered. All you have to bring is grog, bait, ice, clothing and fishing equipment. Went last year and had a hoot but no hairtail(no one sighted/reported any). Good bunch of blokes and no dramas at all.

Either a bloke called Tony or myself. You don't need a licence as it doesn't get over 10 knots. Pretty easy after you get used to it. A couple of years ago I had a 35ft one to myself. Mooring it was tricky the first couple of times but after that it became easier.

Just check when you are thinking of going and where. The price can vary dramatically on what time of year you go. Holidays Afloat is a good mob on the Hawkesbury. You don't pay for engine running hours like some of the others.

See if you can get a few and we will do the hairtail scene together. Lot of fun and peaceful if you want it that way or can be fun filled, alcohol fuelled and hopefully full of fish
