Des - you're about a week too late. My mate was hunting for a good cheap sounder, couldn't find one so bought a new 135 a week ago.

Adam, that's typical of my efforts to sell something. Last tried about 5 months ago when selling my car. Ended up dropping price by $2500.00 and a week later had a buyer willing to pay more that what it was advertised for. Apparently looking for quite some time for his wife who was adament on a manual when the market was flooded with automatics.

Oh well.

G'Day Dekka
I would be interested in your X135. Is it still for sale and could you give me some idea on how old it is?
Cheers
James

Rick, went to a Raymarine C70.

Absolutely love it the more I use it and get used to it. Initially had doubts about the menu setup as it appeared to be trifle more involved than the Lowrance. Having now usd it for a while it is just as easy.

I think the mere fact of change sometimes has us on the back foot. A lot easier to stick within the comfort zone but I'm now glad I made the change.

Reasons for the change, had a handheld GPS that was difficult to read at night with my failing eyesight, also looked at a dual setup so didn't have to look between 2 units (night especially) and wanted a larger screen, again for my eyesight.

Dash space is limited so again a dual unit was my only option. Would have loved the C80 but not enough room to install.
