im still working or not working on my project...... so you want a laugh....
got the boat on the water.... great...cruzing along and it stalled....wouldnt start again, so out came the tools, with no luck i came home on the aux.... to find that the control box didnt disengage gear proprly so it wouldnt give the starter motor power...bit like tryin to start car in drive.....
found the closest brick wall and head butted it a few times....
so i thought i solved the problem , charged the batt. and whent out again a few days later, cruzed out, went to open her up and the leaver broke and cable split out of the casing ,,,,so again back on the aux, put her behind the shed and she has not been looked at since
i think i seen a post that said "bloody boats"....lol

Good to have you back seaeagle,
Im having the same problem with my boat at the moment the control box is buggered but hopefully its getting fixed this weekend , just gotta find a second hand one to suit.

Found a good second hand control box today and it was only 40 bucks, so Im getting closer to being back on the water.
I will keep the Braeside place in mind as Im always needing something.

We all seem to having a few boat issues lately...
I still have to go;
* an oil change
* New fuse panel
* Re-run wire looms away from sounder and depth sounder
* Fix upholstery where torn
* Re mount charter plotter
* Mount Bait board
* acid clean as I am getting water line marks from the yarra. (yuk)
* cut & polish
The trouble is I get some little time I prefer to fish then maintain the boat! But I just know that will ctach me out!
