i would go for a Circuit Breaker unit no need to worry about finding fuses, if it blows just push the circuit breaker button and its done

grant, as I replied in another place there are several ways to do this but I went the way of the plastic storage box with fuse holders mounted inside.
And as a matter of interest I have the Cruisemaster Sovereign, 1991 model, so it's no wonder some of the bits are falling off.

grant, as I replied in another place there are several ways to do this but I went the way of the plastic storage box with fuse holders mounted inside.
Apart from putting in a new fuse panel, based on a clear see-through plastic container, I also took the opportunity to do a smidgin of re-wiring and make life that tad easier for all users.
I split the lighting circuits so the 3 sets of lights that shine over the cockpit are all operated from a sub-switchboard on the port isde of the cockpit, easily found if you are the first back from a looong lazy dinner at a pub in Lakes Entrnace.
The first 3 switches operate the overhead LED bar, the fluoro under the rear backrest and the boarding lights on the swim platfomr. A 4th switch works the accessory socket down aft.
There is a 3-gang switch panel with battery monitors on the port side of the dash for the bilge pump, engine bay blower and the radios.
Another 6-way switchboard does the fridge, nav and anchor lights, etc etc.
All fuses are run inside the clear plastic box so they can be easily seen, with 2 separate feeds from the batteries, while all negatives are run to a common negative bus which then has 2 separate leads to the batteries.
There is a tad or redundancy but I shouldn't be left high and dry if one feed wire fails.
