Apart from the "official" federal notices that are promulgated by the Hydrographic unit of the Royal Australian Navy, there are 4 direct and sveral indirect sources of Notices in Victoria.
Port of Melbourne Corporation has responsibility for the River, Port Melbourne and local channels in Melbourne.
Gippsland Ports is responsible for Corner Inlet and the Lakes Entrance area of Gippsland Lakes.
Victorian Regional Channels Authority is responsible for Hastings, Geelong and Portland.
Parks Vic provides notices for areas of Victoria not covered by the above.
As usual it is a total dog's breakfast, with too many people looking after a job that one person could do. That said here I'll list the main direct sources of Notices.
