Location: Port Fairy
How to Get There and MapRef : Township of Port fairy. Not clearly signposted.
Cost: Free
Ramp Lanes: 2 lanes
Pontoons/boat spaces: 1 each side plus about 10 nearby
Nearby speed limits/ special rules A river ramp, with normal speed restrictions
Distance to open water: About a mile
Off street parking: None designated
Nearby overflow parking: A few spots in and around the nearby trees
Grey Ghosts: Unknown
Toilets facilities: Nothing nearby
BBQ and playground equipment on site: 2 electric BBQs
Nearest Service Stations: In town, across the road bridge
Bait and Tackle: Several shops in the wharf precinct, across the river.

Fish cleaning tables: 1 fish cleaning station at the ramp
Nearest carwash: Unknown
Nearest corner store/milk bar/ food place: Many upmarket places in the town.
Known problems: A 2-lane ramp with virtually no parking. The ramp is NOT easy to find, being across the river from the town and is not signposted except right beside it. Possibly the locals don’t welcome visiting fisho’s?. The river entrance is difficult in any easterly weather. If you’ve got the time I’d recommend going a bit further west to Portland.
Advantages: Sheltered Launch and Retrieve. Free.
