Wash out tub

I am trying to track down a large plastic tub/drum to lower my 115hp motor into to run water through it. It needs to be quite a bit larger in circumference than a 44gallon drum (about double I would reckon) and about 2 foot high. I live in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and have tried a few places that sell plastic drums but have come up blank as they are all too small. Has anyone got any info on where I could find one?

You'll often see small utes driving around with a large cubic plastic chemical container inside an aluminium frame on the tray.
There are several mobs in the industrial areas who have these and you may be able to get hold of one, cut down the plastic and flog the aluminium frame to Sims.

Those square plastic containers are generally available on ebay - from memory they usually go for about $250/$300 - some garden outfit in the outer eastern suburbs (Bayswater etc) advertises them all the time

I've got a large plastic tub that I used to use for that very same task.
I ran my 115hp Merc in it.
You can have it, as long as you can come and pick it up in Werribee.
Oh, it also has a loose fitting lid and is quite solid.

Thanks for the offer Meggsie, but I tracked one down today. Iv'e been asking around and a friend called and said he had a large plastic tub that would do the trick.
