Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone here knows a good boat transport company that would be able to pick up the boat (5m plate alloy with trailer) from brisbane and deliver to melbourne?
thanks
G'day mate.
One of my Frankston coastguard co members is a truckie. He now does local runs, but has recently arranged to have our new CG boat transported from Brisbane.
His name is Jim Teika... Mobile 0425777606. My name is Ted Ryan for reference.
I would suggest you give Jim a call. I am sure he will set you on the right path.

i dont know anyone that would be able to do it but what you maybe able to do is contact a few transport companies and organise a back load to melbourne as many transport companies only have a load on the way up to brisbane but not a load to come back with and you may get a good cheap rate through them..
there is transport companies that just deal in carting boats as well a bit more expensive then getting a backload
take a look at this website as they may also do backloads and they specialise in marine transport
