Boat Cleaning

I have been asked by a family friend what would be the best way of cleaning the white tube worm like things that grow on your boat if you leave it moared in the salt water. He has a tinnie about 14" and leaves it moared in the water that backs onto his land at mallacouta. Any ldeas, I have suggested not leaving it in the water and the only way I know to removed them off aluminium would be to chip and scrape away.

Water blast, but drought restrictions would kill that....

scrapper (plastic) would be nxt best.

Thanks Grant, might see if he has a high pressure washer, may be able to hook to tank water or salt and flush it out after.
