Hi all.

took my lancer cuddy home over the weekend and had a really good look all over.
to my surprise i missed something on my initial inspection prior to buying the boat... it's not big issue though!
anyway, on the port side of the transom just above the transducer bracket, there is a few small holes which i suspect are holes from screws hold the transducer cable to the transom.
then above that, just under the transom step there is a hole about 50c in size with 3 screw holes around it (maybe i should take a pic of it tonight).
would anyone here know a mobile welder (western suburbs) by any chance?
it will probably take him 10mins max.

thanks.

I don't think u will find a mobile alloy welder anywhere.
You might have to take it into a shop for repairs.

I assume the boat is second hand and the hole that is about 50c in size wouldn't happen to be left over from a electric bilge pump that the old ower might have decided to keep. just a thought.

i think i might have figured out what that hole what there for...
i think the old owner had a live bait set up and that's where he plumbed his hose to draw water or vice versa.... very sad that it was taken out and left a hole there...
i have sold 3 boats in the last 3 years and what ever i had bolted to the hull stays there.
anyway, i might go and replumb that live tank system instead of welding.
talking of which.... does anyone here know or have diagrams of how to set one up? hehehe

I was doing some searching thru ebay a while a go and stumbled upon a retailer of live tanks. There is a basic diagram on one of his listings. Try this link it may give you some help / tips
