Hi all,

Just bought the humminbird 777c2 color fish finder (from US) and also bought the external GPS antena.
just wondering if anyone here has one or similar unit (without the internal built GPS) and how they perform?
has anyone got navionic cards? or does anyone know where i can get one so that together with my GPS it would show a bit more details of my position?

Thanks.

Try whitworths in the city or JV marine for the cards but they are not cheap as I think they are the same as the Magellan blue maps and I found that they were around 300-400 bucks. Fishing show might be worth a look. I have a cable and program that allows me to program certain features on my hummingbird matrix 27 if you want to know more let me know.

Live Baiter,
with the hummingbird software you can update the unit software, manage your tracks and waypoints get and change the unit profile. I have been able to change the message so when you fire up the unit you can see that the unit belongs to me and also has my phone number on the screen just incase it is stolen. You can also input your way points in via the pc which is easier than by the the gps\fish finder. If you want a copy of the program you can download if for free from the hummingbird web site.
