So my GPS is dead it would appear need to check for corrosion and alike, but certain its screwed. Whilst the loss of my gps is bad, the owrst bit is all of my marks and spots developed over the last 3 years will be gone as well.
GUTTED!
I am going to see what I can do but am not holding hope.

Grant, look up Navman Australia in Sydney and give them a call, They helped me out with repairs to my 5100 which i purchased off ebay and quick turn round, just 1 week to the day. $99.00 in total. Have a good look at the web site all the info is there.

We have had the same issues with the Navman products. Dad has a NAVMAN 5100 plotter gps unit and I think a Navman fishfinder 4380...the finder keeps S&%ting itself every 18 months or so. The dealer we brought it from cannot seem to work out why it keep shappeneing.
