Sounder & GPS wanted

Ok the time has come to start looking for a sounder and a gps. I've done the rounds of the shops and done the ebay bit , buying new doesn't overly faze me but I had the thought that somebody may want to upgrade but doesn't quite have enough dollars. Selling their second hand gear may just be enough to get those extra bucks to upgrade.

Handheld GPS is an option along with a sounder

I can score a Humminbird Matrix12 for $299 and the GPS add on for $219 , but I would rather go cheaper as I'd like some money left over.

No idea really on budget the cheaper the better , I will be fishing in waters up to I would say no more than 8 metres so high end stuff is wank value

Ozzy, If you can hang on for a while around Xmas. I am upgrading for electronics and will have a lowrance 107cdf and a navman 5110 chart plotter available. The chart plotter wont have its card in it as i have PC planner and need the card. Price will be pretty good.
whilst I`m not a fan of navonics maps nowdays with what i do its easier for me to do stuff.

The sounder is around 2 years old and is a ripper, But nowdays i tend to map reefs and will be using the new broadband lowrance sounders

Hi Ozzy,

Ivé got a Navman F4100 which was the basic model when fitted to my new boat in 04.

It was replaced last year when I went colour. The Navman was a working well when replaced and comes with cable and transponder. Currently boxed up in my shed. Yours if you want it for $100.00.

I have an Eagle basic sounder that came with my boat. I updated and put this Eagle back in its case where it has remained for the past few years. Comes with booklet, carry case and transducer and of course in working order. Email me at david897@hotmail.com if interested.
