Mum and Dad have decided to sell their van , due to their age and Mum having difficulties in helping Dad to set the van up it’s time to move on. It’s been a great van for them both and has taken them on many memorable journeys in their Grey Nomad travels. My old man is a stickler for safety and maintenance so as you can imagine the van is A1 safety wise. A run down on the van follows
1976 Capricorn
12 ft long , 15 ft overall
6 ft 6 “ wide
6 ft 9 “ high when closed
Tare 1060 on the rego papers , they had it weighed on a weighbridge and it came in at 850 kilo
3 way fridge that works well , the gas is not hooked up and never has been since they have owned it but it’s just a case of the line being reconnected which is there so can’t say whether it works on gas or not.
New stove
New innerspring mattress not one of those foam things
The Canvas on the pop up section is as new and the mechanism is new for the pop top section.
The Van has a full annexe again as new.
9 kilo gas bottle
New brake cylinders , pads and wheel bearings
New tyres
Vic Rego , previously registered in SA
All lights work
No cracks in the windows
No leaks
They tow the van with their Mitsi 2.6lt Triton on gas and does it easy , the van tows very well and doesn’t sway.
They are looking for $3800 o.n.o

PS You will notice silver paper on the side window , Dad had it their to keep the sun out as it has no curtain there.
