Hi all, I noticed a week or so ago that K-Mart in the Werribee Plaza were selling off the last few Shimano Symetre 1500 reels at $95 which I thought was a pretty good price but they are usually locked in a case and it can be a pain trying to get someone to get one out. However there was one out on the racks on Wednesday night so I thought I'd check it under the scanner and it came up as $75, I didn't waste any time buying it! There were 2 left in the case and I can't see why they wouldn't come up at the same price.
I just need to convince my wife I need a new rod to go with it

Hey leigh,
That sounds like a good price, to convince the wife you need a rod to go with the reel is easy, take her shopping, I take mine all the time, I never say no when she says she has to get a new jumper, jacket, or anything for that matter, when it comes to me buying fishing gear, never have a problem. I do get " another rod, havnt you got enough' nah luv, never have to much, its a new model, couldnt resist it.
give it a go, works for me all the time,
dave

I can't for the life of me think why you'd be in BCF in Wagga, unless you're trying for a PB Murray Cod before the inland rivers dry in entirety.
Maybe they'll be changing their name to BC-mudhole wrestling
