For me the winter is about my non-fishing obsession, Skiing. But for many of us its simply a new phase of the continuing fishing year. In FNQ where winter sees the mucury dip to 22-23 Deg during the day, fishing during winter yields bream, tailor and jewfish. Whilst in WA there is tailor and more Jewies.

Here in Victoria, the fishing is a little more hard work with some seriously cold temps and the windy month of August. The fishing thins a bit, but there are sharks, the odd resident ...

I work in a large team about 80 people all up, spread over many cities but all still one team. It wasnt till a work mate mentioned to me today in passing that he was building a hoby yak and he was fitting side scan fish finding kit on it, before we both relised we are both of the mad keen kind. Then with in a moment there were two other guys I work with on a daily basis that were made keen as well. So the question I ask... is how well do you really know your work mates. How many of us sit next to ...

Well we have a big flash new home and loads of content still to be put up. We have a bleeding edge content managment system. We even have more active users then ever before.

The very core of this is still the members, so as if we were going back to start the site again.. I ask one question to all members. What would YOU like to see.
