Can you use your phone to catch a fish?

Ever wondered with all this hype about mobiles and the ever present Iphone, how you could use some of this new technology to catch more fish and tell your mates about what you have caught.

We have been using forums for ever to post our catches, text our mates with the lat an long of a great catch. What about using our mobiles and the built in features to track our catches and even better selectively tell our buddies where the fish are on.

As a recent convert to an Iphone, I am hooked on the uses I have found in its basic abilities and am over the moon with one particular app which threatens to replace my in boat chart plotter.

Over this season, I and a group of dedicated worshippers will be trialling all the latest gadgets we can get our hands on.
