				<description>Police would like to advise that section 15(2) of the Marine Act 1988 is now in effect in some flood prone areas and rivers across Victoria.&lt;br /&gt;

Police would like to advise that section 15(2) of the Marine Act 1988 is now in effect in some flood prone areas and rivers across Victoria.&lt;br /&gt;
The act provides that from 5pm Monday 6 September till 5pm Thursday 9 September swimming and the operation of vessels (including anchoring, mooring or allowing a vessel to lie) excluding those vessels involved in search and rescue operations is prohibited on the following waters:&lt;br /&gt;
a. All the waters of the Goulburn River from the Goulburn River Weir to the junction of the Murray River;&lt;br /&gt;
b. All the waters of the Gowangardie</description>

The man was with two friends in the bay about 3am when the boat they were in started taking on water and capsized.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The man's friends managed to swim to shore to raise the alarm.&lt;br /&gt;

Search and Rescue, Water Police and the Airwing are now searching for the man, aged in his 30s.&lt;br /&gt;
